i cant figure out how to get my threadless headset off.what can i use that will work sufficently

No bike shops are not the place to go they will clamp your scooter down 2 hard and give you stress clamps just do this.......
get a flat head and put it inside the headtube till you feel the headset then go around the edges and hit the end of the flat head on the ground pushing the head set out if it does not do any thing use wd-40 make sure you cover your wheel bearings and whipe down your scooter after use

just lightly take a hammer and tap the top cap
why would u do that to take it off?
