Ok so my mech has been bolted for like a month or so and the very top bolt (the 3/8 one) came out and now i cant get it so stay locked when im riding, it keeps poping out. help?

take all the bolts out, re-do it. put lockwashers before u put all the nuts back on, screw the nuts on tight, but not so tight that it makes the lock washers straight (they start crooked, dont ask why, they work tho lol)

pop out? Thats cool!!

I don't really understand so I can't help you exactly where you need help but from what I think you are saying , heres what you can do.

It seems to me that you are trying explain that the nut is coming out.

If thats the problem , few reasons ( which I know) can be causing it.

1) The bolt / nut has no more threads.
2) There is too much vibration
3) No need to talk bout the rest.

I suggest that you go get a new bolt. Then , lock it but at the end of the bolt, put 2 nuts if not as many as you like.

Optional : put some loc-tite on the bolt before tightening the nut.

I got myself banned.
Tuff to describe, but when your tightening the bolt you should be pulling the wrench in a downward direction so the bolt slides down into the mech more... i made a mistake of tightening it upward and mine would pop out

yea what i used to do is take it apart and use a front axle to put at the top of the hole then bolt it like normal so that way if it does alip it cant go up

idk why but for some reason i just dont have to do that anymore, youll find a way to tighten it so it wont move

yea. its not the nut thats coming out. the whole bolt (with the nut on it) comes out of the mech and into the neck
