help with ramp

im makin a qp and i need to know what and where to buy the metal plate at the bottom of the ramp, like where your about to go up it and theres that metal plate there to prevent you from hittin the lip

you don't necessarily need that. As long as the transition is smooth from the ramp to the ground you don't really need it. If you really want one I bet masonite could work too.

Yeah. Build the structure, put a couple of layers of plywood on top, then cover in masonite and you have a golden ramp.

They have in depth ramp plans and even go so far as to explain different qualities of woods, screws, etc. Check it out, I'm sure it could help you.

I used to use a metal street sign for the bottom of my box jump. But you will need something wider for a quarterpipe, obviously.
 
go to home depot and they have sheet steel i have one laying round cuz i was gonna build a kicker but got one for free, if u really want ill sell u it but there like 20 bucks at home depot
