So we cant reinfoce the '08 model forks.. and since i ride 1 piece bars i cant exactly use them.

I used to do the method of reinfocing them then stacking thread bits on the reinfocment.. but now i cant do that.

So im pretty much fuckeed cause I need that reinfocment stacking thing to keep the bars from coming off.

also, i already tryed finding a pole that fits the forks to renfoce with, and i cldnt find any at all.

little help cause if i cnat find anyhting im fucked since i dont have any stock bars.

bascially what im asking is is there a way to get 1 peice bars to fit on the new model forks.

So ride bars arent the exact size for your fork?
And you need a longer fork to run a quad clamp to make them solid?
Only thing i could think of is swap forks with some one who doesnt have 08 forks and ride bars.
I reinforced my 08 forks with a 3mm thick 1" stainless steel tube which had been cut down the tube and squished in to make it fit in the fork and then welded in..

bump.
well whatever.. im going to some metal place tomorrow to try and pick up a solid pipe to reinfoce with so that i stop breaking forks lol

BTW, sorry the search button is not working for me right now, idk if its the same for anyone else but what is the

INNER DIAMETER and OUTTER DIAMETER for 1 piece bars (like the handle bits and the stem bitt)
and yee i know you dont actually need the inner diamiter fiir the handle bits so yee, so if i could get that info ASAP, or I'll love you if you cna use the search botton for me acuse it keep sending me back to the main page!!

edit:
K so i got my friend to seach it.

He found

"4130 chromoly in 1 1/8" I.D. for steer tube and 7/8" O.D. for handlebars"

So what is the OD of the steer tube then?

od of bars are 1 1/4" id is 1 1/8....why do you think we use 1 1/8 headsets for forks and 1 1/4 clamps for bars?

I got myself banned.
Im not sure if this would work, but could you put the reinforcement tube in the fork from the bottom instead? I can't remember if they put that lip at the bottom too

No lip.
on 08 pros the hole forktube is thicker

Try and reinforce it that way.

Tryed that, but I'm not actually using a Razor for at the moment though, but im using a fork thats a bit longer and similar with no lip.

i just used some t-tube and tape to reinforce my new pro forks

if you have to use tape its not going to do anything, reinfocments alone arent even that great since the metal can still crack easy.
