i just clear coated my inward steel forek and i taped everything up. but because im an idiot i didnt think that i needed to take my scooter apart for it,i thought the tape would stop somthing bad from happened, but the clear coat got into my headset and now it barely spins, will riding loosen it up or should i buy a new one?

Get some of that stuff at a hardware store that cleans metal down to the metal. It's good stuff. You just pour it on there and wipe it in with some paper towels and your left with nothin but metal components, then you just re grease and keep it rollin.

Ask workers about it at a local hardware store. Because I forget what the stuffs called.

Well you'll have to take it completely apart to get it fully cleaned. You probably won't need to take the cups out.

And I suppose you could call it that. It has stuff in it that rapes everything thats not metal.

This. ^I'm pretty sure the headset's traumatized enough, having clearcoat all up in its personal space and everything. It doesnt need to see its best friend getting raped by a bunch of chemicals.

Try zip strip. it works wonders for everything. and takes fingerprints off... of your fingers.
