OK so I have a brand new v2i with lucky t HIc bars and shim from lucky set up on a fuzion elite fork there is a wobble no.matter how tight I make my HIV bolt or clamp could it be the fork or the shim. It really seems to.flex a lot practically UN useable. Any help is appreciated.

use a longer bolt that is what i had to do i think its because the v2i has a longer head tube and the bolt isn't threading far enough into the star nut.... so try a longer bolt i think they have longer ones with the headset

I have him saying its the bolt and TomK says its the shim along with some others....the plastic shim they give with it seems lame though..

the star isnt stripped when me and my friens took the shim off the bolt would thread into the star nut just fine. i have been told it is the plastic shim from lucky. i just need some back up before i go ordering another hic kit

No, it's probably the shitty plastic shim lucky gave you.
Buy a hic kit off of TSI or FSP websites and use that.

Or crank the fuck out of your headset. What type of deck is it? it could be an ovalized headtube, my Fuzion elite had a shit headtube that was wobbly due to that.

I used the lucky shim perfectly and it worked fine for me I had zero problems with it. My friend rides it now and has no problems with it. Your problem is you need a longer bolt or a smaller HIC shim. The v2i headtube is taller then most so a shorter Shim or longer bolt is necessary.

this is bullshit. straight up. I ride a v2i. never had a problem. seriously.

How so? I stated a fact that the V2i headtube is taller then most. The lucky shim is also taller then the average shim. Therefore, the top cap is farther away from the starnut. Resulting in the need for a longer bolt or a shorter shim.
