HIC/oversized bars.

ok so HIC only works with oversized bars.right? so i was wondering since RADs and TSI bars work with HIC do FrID bars work? the usuall bar dimension is 1 1/4. FrID is 1 3/8. so thats oversized right? soo has anyone tried it? sorry if i sound like an ultra noob.

Frid bars are Aluminum. At least the ones I think your talking about... The outside diameter is 1 3/8" but the inside is 1 1/8th because the aluminum is thicker then RAD and TSI Bars and are not made for HIC. Meaning HIC will NOT work with Frid Bars. TSI and RAD bars are both Chromoly and the inside diameter is 1 1/4" meaning you can fit a 1 1/4" compression shim within the 1 3/8" bars. The reason you can fit Frid clamps on TSI and RAD bars is because of the OUTSIDE diameter is 1 3/8".
