HIC Question.

can you use it with threaded forks? i have an inward fork threaded and a stock headset. i just dont want it do wobble. ive never broken a fork and ive never broken a stock fork so i think im good. i just dont have the money to buy a new threadless fork

if you dont have the money for threadless forks how do you have the money for hic bars. and you don't need hic

There is no point in getting HIC bars for a THREADED FORK. Invest in a threadless fork and ICS or just regular sized bars (NON-HIC) if you want to keep rocking threaded.

LOCKNUT is all you need for threaded headsets. You can use threadless headsets on your fork to make it spin better, but you don't need HIC or any compression OTHER THAN your locknut for THREADED forks.


HOWEVER... and I hate saying this because the whole concept is inane... the HIC should work on your threaded fork (i think. Never tried. Never will..) as long as your headset is set up right, the starnut is installed, yada yada.
