Hic shim stuck in bars

So, I got my order from vertx today, super stoked about that! But, I somehowanaged to get my Hic shim stuck in my bars! The shim is of course longer than the slit, so does anyone have an idea to get it out?

Do you have access to an old Bike wheel spoke?

You'll need something with a hook on the end to reach up inside and catch the edge of the shim.

or pick up a Tool Pick set at Home Depot, Lowes Ace etc
