Sockets. You can also fabricate pretty legit pegs if you cut the floppy ear handles off of razor bars to the right length.

Well we don't know if our pegs are better until we see what yours look like. Try posting pictures or explaining what they were.
I made pegs using sockets, along with many other people on this site. I also tried making pegs using an extra long axle and wheel spacers, which didn't work out very well.

So what were yours made out of?

I used to have a socket peg in the back, and a bearing peg in the front.
