I heard this is good for curbs.
Get a brick and rub it on the curb until it slides alright
then get a candle and just drag it up and down on where you went on it with the brick.
Then it should be really nice, if not keep repeating until it is.

Its metal, its much more slippery than skateboards (wood).
You shouldnt need wax for anything, to make anything more slippery, because metal is slippery enough.

i once found a tin of beeswax in my garage that my mum didnt want so i used the whole tin on the curb outside my house. It made it really slippy and it lasted about 4 months without adding anymore. you can still see bits of it now and this was about a year and half ago.

use a candle, but make sure you use fire to light the wax and melt it. It'll work then, but it takes some effort.

get a candle
a few crayons (the colour you want the wax to be)
a tin (eg. baked beans tin, fruit tin, fucking any tin)

heat up the stove
put the candle into the tin then onto the stove
wait for it to melt a bit
then chuck in the crayons
let it melt all together

mix if you want the colour to be throughout the wax
or the colour will settle to the bottom and then rest of the wax will be normal

now pour it into a mould or container
let it cool down and set
then grind that shit all day

alright,i make my own wax sometimes,
get any source of wax you can find,crayons,candles,and put them in a pan,you can mix some soap or anything slippery in the mix to affect the desired consistency,i like butter.then you just leave the stuff on the pan,put the pan on high,wait till all that melts down,then get like a soda can,and cut some of the top,then pour the wax in the can and leave the wax in the fridge over night. sometimes you make really hard wax and sometimes you get almost much, just experiment with different amounts and consistencys and you will eventually find a perfect recipe.its really hard to mess up on this,trust me you can do it,but the pan might be a little messy so your gonna have to clean it really well.one time i had amazing wax,i just put on like 2 strokes on the ledge and its perfedctly grindable.but i forgot the recipe.
