i am thinking about making custom one piece bars with my dad cuz he has a welding license, but he doesnt have the stuff you need to weld aluminum, only steel, do you think steel bars would be way to heavy? or do you think i could make them work? thanks

All aftermarket bars are chrome moly 4130, thats the steel you want to use, not aluminium.
TIG weld if you can.

tungsten inert gas im pretty sure. its just the best welding choice for scooter parts

me n my dad made steel bars from our TIG welder. they are heavy but reakin strong
