Homemade deck?

How hard would it be to make one and how long would it last? Does anyone have some plans on how to make one maybe?

It depends on quality of material, is it designed well, are the welds good, do you want it to be light or heavy, there's so many factors that are implied to this process. If you want to deal with the headache and what not then go for by all means. Innovation is always a positive thing.

its actually a lot harder than you think. i've tried it.
your best bet is to try to make something like a old tsi, but still.

if you dont have heat treatment machine .how you do the heat treatment after welding????

Heat treatment isn't required to make a deck.

And you don't need to heat treat decks, it will make it stronger though.

I actually have an OG homie out of Oregon that threw together his own deck. Rode it for close to six months before deciding to switch to a reventon. If i remember right he said it took him close to six weeks to finish but yeah it held up in the long run. Ill try to hit him up for some pictures.

Edit: he says it's in storage and this is the only picture he could find. Also says he made it back in 2003, this decks got history.
