How did you meet? Any "small world" stories

im a loner in the scootering world these days.....i might ride with some australian riders soon, once i was on my way to melbourne and i stopped at some random maccas for dinner and across the road was leumeah park.. and phil was tehre and i didnt even go over to him or do anything there coz i had a massive headache from driving 8 hours... well thats my story

Well im kinda speechless at that story lol... Damn I would kiiiil to ride with Phil.... But hes coming down to the Gold Coast so I guess I dont have to kill anyone....Maybe their team manager if he doesent let them go down to the gold coast!!!

This is from a while ago (before I met Jordan) But still really weird.
Me and my mate drove 2 hours to Bellena and when we go to the skatepark there this kid came up to me and said "Are you from the Gold Coast" and im like "Umm....Yeeah..." and he said "Wait....Are you that really good kid on a scooter" at this point I was like "WTF? Wheres he geting this???" and I looked at my mate and he shruged, he had never seen him before either....

Eh Ill post more as I think of them, that one was just really weird...

well i was at my local (leumeah) when a bunch of scooter riders from anthoer town rocked up and started ridding, i didnt take much notice at that point but i saw this kid briflip out of the roll in out of the cornor of my eye so i thought i mite no him i will god say hello, well anyway when i got to where he was i looked at him and could have swarn it was jesse m he loo exactly alike so i aske dhim if he could flair and he said no so i just rode off!!

I was at san clemente skatepark one day....then josh toy, eric carlson and casey murphy rolled up...and uhmm thats about it

Well during hurricane katrina or whatever this year umm. whe i hit everywhere and tore down a crapload of house it blew a pro model into my yard and since then ive been scootering and getting better everyday.. =]

Soz bringin up an old thread.

But anyways when Gazza came up (Damn im really refering to this alot lol) Alot of people were telling me that there was this kid who does frountflips in Brisborne (Close to the Gold Coast) and apparntly hes focking awesome, so anyway this kid told me about him and I wrote www . scooter resource . com down and a peice of paper and told the kid to give it to him. Anyway he musent have got the paper but tonight this random added me and I asked him who he was and he said "I scooter, I live in brissie" so I immediatly asked "can you frountflip?" and he just said "how did you know?" haha crazy eh? But yeh cant wait, prob gonna go ridin with him on the weekend or somehin...

well about a week after i find this site and there mysteriously seems to be a comp just down the road from me and i make a thread, send a few pms and BANG coedie, phil and james are coming.

um.. i rided in school just for fun. the day i learned tailwhip i was like zomg im best in world lol.. then my friend told me one forum ( shec ).. so i saw a little scooter forum there and started to look footages and so on. i was pretty afraid to meet scooters coz my mom always warned me to not meet any internet ppls ;p.. but then i did go to skatepark with madis, same day i did met juku.. madis had alot more scooter riders and now i know all i think ;p ( btw afcourse madis invited juku, it wasnt lucky at all ;p )

Meh this just happned to me last night, I decided to watch Fuel for no reason and It was "Friday Night Bike" (I.e. had a shitload of BMX shows on) and I was just siting there "Hindsight" and it had an interveiw of Corey Bohan and Ryan Gutler (sp? meh) and it had some stuff about Beenliegh skatepark then suddenly my local park runaway bay was on, Crestmade skatepark, Woodridge skatepark and some street spots we have rode. Not really that amasing but pretty cool to know that Gutler has flaired my local park haha
