how do i lock an orignal razor folding mec

hey i see you're new. just so you know, there is an edit button (little paper and pencil icon at the top right of your posts) that you can use, instead of creating additional posts.

to lock your mech, just put two bolts in where you took the originals out of, then one in between the neck and mech in the back where you see an opening, then tighten them. bam there you go

you want one 3/8 by 2 and 1/2 inch bolt, and one 5/16 by 2 and 1/2 inch bolt (and matching nuts and washers). (or you can get two of the 5/16 size bolts and put one through the bottom hole, but I don't really think that matters too much if you have the stock bolt there). I drew a diagram kind of thing to show how it works...

To clear things up, the place that says optional means that you have to have a bolt there, but you don't necessarily need to buy another one because the stock bolt there should suffice...

um.
that one you marked optional, is not at all optional.
you are deffffinanntly going to want a bolt in there, the other one with a blue square is optional though.

wait, why? Isn't the stock bolt through there good enough?

yeah, if you thought I meant to leave it empty, then I see why lol, but if you have the stock bolt there it should be good enough i think...
