god people have such difficulty with spray painting, it comes natural to me. everyone at cooter con 6 kept asking me if my scooter was powdercoated and as soon as i said i spray painted it it was like their jaws dropped
sh!t's gonna get scratched eventually anyway. just do light coats and it wont drip. and dont hold the can so close to the bars. keep it like 5-6 inches away. no point spending an entire day painting when you're gonna be like "sweet new paaaint!" and go ride and drop your scooter and scratch the paint.
in my experiences, auto/engine paint doesnt really scratch. the only problem with it is that there's limited colors.
ya hep its alot stronger like i used somr high temp exhaust paint cuz it was the only silver i had and it wouldn't scratch. but it takes more work to make that paint look good
alright, i dont think i have any exhaust paint, or anything used for auto/engine purposes, so i'll just do the 2 paint 2 clear technique, and if it like scratches real bad, ill just touch it up.
