how do you do a smooth smith grind.

Having pegs helps a lot. If not even for the sake of balance, it gives you a target to focus on to get the right initial positioning. From there it's cake.

They are just as easy without pegs as they are with pegs. Just try to get on and keep your back wheel straight, so you dont get pushed off the ledge.

its a lot easier if the ledge your grinding on has really wide angle iron on it

yea they slide smoother but they don't have a lot of room on the bottom for grinding so you have a harder tine balancing

wax it upppppppppppppppppp like butter

I disagree...some douche at my local waxed up the tops of the boxes so he could powerslide them, and I ate shit a few times sliding out on smiths. I don't think you need wax on anything except rough concrete honestly. I've never needed it.

I disagree, less friction means you slide more.

And TSI's are the best deck for smiths. Besides probably the proto deck.

But you gotta get your back wheel as close as possible to the edge without it slipping off and you'll slide great.
