SNOW DAYS? What are the conditions like and whatnot for you?

For my school the bus drivers basically call it. We need:

- 8 inches of snow or more, and have it fall RIGHT as people should be waking up, so the snow plows havent gotten to it yet. Even then there is usually only a delay. Need a good foot to close.

- An inch of ice/freezing rain on everything and too cold for the salt trucks to help that much.

- Wind chills below like -30. Basically just FUCKING COLD + lots of wind.



I hate it when people are like "yeah we get an inch of snow and we get a snowday"..... like wtf?! lol

well our school does whatever the school from the next town over does, about 10 miles away. I dunno what the parameters are for closing/delay, but it usually takes about a half foot to get anything. also we SHOULD have had at least a delay a few weeks ago but that other school had the day off anyways so we got nothing!!! i was so mad!

atleast 1 and a half feet for a snowday here if even that they might just delay that... snow days are rare here anymore because our town has learned how to plow all the fucking roads so the buses can mob...

washington had it bad this year... 4 inches one day then like 5 days later 5 inches... that pretty bad for us we usually get like an inch and it never cancels school.

pretty much threat of snow and all of nashville flips out.
so we get closed for almost nothing
were suppose to get like 2" wednesday night and more threwout the day...well probably be out thursday
