How do you make a HIC shim?

I want to make a hic shim for my mgp deck so I don't have to cut my fork or use spacers. I have razor ultra pro bars that I don't use anymore, so could I cut those and make a shim?

why planting threads? i told you that already in another your thread
yes it works, make that shim instead of cutting the forktube

Just put your rup bars next to the remainder of te fork sticking put of the headset, then mark the bars, cut the slit first, its easier, then cut the bars
