step 1: find a measuring tape
step 2: find your scooter
step 3: Measure from the bottom of your clamp to the top of the bars

from top to bottom as you would expect

Messure from the bottom of the bars to the weld. Or in the middle of the T tube (cross bar). If you messure to the top it can be around half inch off, or a little less. Madis posted a picture a while back showing how to messure them, someone should post it.
