How do you take a scooter on a plane without taking it apart?

Anyone know? I dont want to mess up my clamp threads. Like, can you check it fully assembled?

If you are going to be flying that much, i would just buy a bunch of the bolts that go into your clamp and change em out when you feel its necessary.

gate check it. when going through security just say your going to gate check it and say, no it does not fold when they ask you. If there is any uncertainty on what do do through security with the workers,because people have jobs but that doesn't mean they know all the rules; Don't ask, Tell(not ignorantly just firmly) them that they take if threw the gate, give it the wand and move on. then when you go to board the plan and the attendant asks for you boarding pass, get it scanned and politely tell her that you would like to gate check your scooter, when she asks if it folds say no, and then she will give you a card with a string to put on the bars, then before boarding the plan there is a guy with strollers and what not, give him the scooter, then when you get off it will be at the same spot as you get off the plane.
