How long should i HIC SHIM be

Depends on the head tube size, what deck have you got?

I orderded a District V2 tilt fork's and french id headset and lucky shim METAL ONE

If the shim is too short just put some headset spacers under it.

it should be at the best at least a 1/2 inch from the top of the forks or 1 inch from the starnut, if yours seem to close get some headset spacers, if not find some old 1 -1/4th bars cut how ever much u wanna cut off for how long u want your shim, make a slit on the shim and put it on yours forks
