HOW THE HELL..........

i weigh 120 and i rode those new yaks for 2 months on the front before they broke. but i dont have any more, so i just ride blanks/metal core/stocks.

I ride mostly street and some how my front old yak broke ... im still riding the back one and its doing fine. Its just small noww

I weigh like 200 and my hot glue yaks (brand new) have lasted between 3-4 months (back wheel).

And I used to ride nothing but 110's.. and when they started making the clicking noise id just change out for a new wheel because i hated it. Now those barely cracked wheels turn out good use as a front wheel for a good 2 months or so.

Gotta love old yaks + hot glue mod.

I still have spares <3

i think they will be fine if you don't do huge drops and sketchy landings, and if you hotglue them, more pressure goes onto the urathane, which makes them break easier.
and its not just the new yaks, i bought some new pro model wheels and hot glued them, and a few weeks later, they broke
