How to avoid this?

when i was pulling flips for the first time, i was scared of hitting the coping with my head, but once i actually pulled one, it never came into consideration.. its pretty rare to hit your head on the coping..

basically you have to completely fall back as soon as your wheels hit the coping

to pete: i hate you for having that park, thats the first time ive seen a ramp next to the foam pit, like that quarter pipe deck..becaue it would be perfect for trying bunnyhop flips for the first time...

about backflips, the first one i ever tryed in foam was on a mellow ramp and i wasnt even thinking about hitting my head, btu then when i moved up to the steeper jump to try flips into the foam, it took me like an hour to finally try it, but i havent worried about hitting my head since, and i never have. tyler tells me i come really close sometimes though, like when i do backflips at talent with almost no speed...
