How To Install A Starnut In Your Forks(Much Easier Way)

Ok, here is what you are going to need:
-1 compression bolt
-washers or the ics compression cap
-fork
-starnut
-wrench and socket the size of the bolt (whatever bolt size you have, i dont know. just find the right sized socket)
-vice

Here is how to install the starnut:
1. Put your fork in the vice.
2. Put your compression bolt and cap up through the fork as you would for an ICS compression system. (if you dont know what that is, just search)
3. Put your starnut right-side up, on the compression bolt. tighten the starnut to the point where it is not quite in the fork yet, so there is about 3-4 inches of threaded bolt above it.
4. Tighten the bolt so the starnut slowly gets pulled into the fork.
5. Stop tightening when the top of the starnut is in the fork with about a quarter of an inch to spare above it.

I feel this thread was needed to stop some of the nooby threads on how to install starnuts, as this is a pretty easy way.

All credit to TristanVesely for coming up with this idea and installing my starnut this way for me.

good idea im just saying another good idea is if you put a screw driver in the fork on top of the starnut than hammer it in it works too like if you dont have the compression bolt
