How to install baby scs

I recently bought a baby scs and I have some questions. I have inward one peice bars 22 high 16 wide with a slit . I also bought a proto senior fork already cut for the baby scs. Is their anything else I need to do to my bars or to my fork before I install it ?

why did you order the bars with slit it will just slip out

cut the slit off. and i take it the fork already has a starut?

I'm not sure I don't think so though if it doesn't how do I install the starnut ?
