first you will need a plastic chopping board like this
http://www.southernhospitality.co.nz/images/Store159/{176E1BF7-11B0-4EAA-A4F8-77D4D088148C}.jpeg then cut the board to the width of your deck and get some liquid nails put two clamps on it let it sit 12 hours and and grind

no its not,

some other guy posted a thread on this so its not gay, it just might seem gay to you

some-one tries to better the sport and everyone jumps on his back adn calls his good idea gay

I actually like that idea.
People have put skate grind rails on, but this is quite inventive.
Well in son.

i kinda like it, but it will get worn down really fast, its expensive, it might be slow, and its heavy. its probably not the ideal material. people do use skate grind rails, and at least one version of the sr scooter has a wooden plate. try it. experiment.

also, liquid nails is shit. use bolts.

I did this a while ago and it worked really well. I just counter sunk some holes and drilled some screws into the deck through the cutting board and they held perfectly. I grinded unwaxed curbs the whole night and it still had plenty of life left on it.

Word to the wise, if you're cutting the cutting board to size using an angle grinder and the cutting board starts to melt, don't touch it. Normally when plastic is melty, it's hot, and this is no different from cutting boards.

its a good idea and all
but ive learned that if the ledge is anything worth grinding, its already been waxed plenty and chances are that you wont even need it
but good idea

Pretty much not true. I'm sure there are a lot of good spots that have waxed ledges, but you're not gonna get anywhere riding what everyone else rides.
