first take you spring out, second take a big pair of pliers and squeeze the spring together then put it back on your scoot, and use a Flathead screwer and lift up the spring leg thats in your deck, and put the part that is perpendicular the the decks side, and put it into the hole part of a nut.
coins slide out. If the spring rattles because it isn't snug, take it off, and keep squeezing it a little bit together with vice grips until it fits snug. Keep testing it. Also, buy a 1/4 GRADE 8 3 inch bolt with a NYLOC nut. File or drill out the hole where the brake spring goes until the 1/4 bolt snugly fits in both sides. Also do with the same to the brake. Put it together and tighten it hard. Actually really easy.
bearing with hot glue will hold up for a while. but i drilled some holes in my ultra pro and put on a tsi flexfender and im so much happier with it now. bigggg improvement
