How to make bar extenders! (pics)

Fatigue would cause the OD of the dowel to decrease, then the 'extensions' would come loose and be held only by your grips.

it would be perfect if you used epoxy on the dowel and then re sprayed that bit, it'd look kinda like it came that way! really good idea man, not i'm happy with my 21 wide batwings :p

1. It's wood. It will break. All of you who say it won't are wrong. Scooter falls upside down once, and it will snap and/or warp.
2. Aluminum razor crossbars have 1/8" thick walls. Steel bars have 1/16" thick walls.

it would fall off before it broke.
and ive welded extra metal to the ends of some rup bars and it worked great. you couldnt even notice it.

cant you just take the a bars, cut a slit all the way throu it like you would cut a slit in bars, hammer it in as far as you want bar extenders using a hammer?
