so i bent my bars again yesterday, an di was thinking in my basement about how to fix them from bending a forth time, and i thought of reinforcing them. (duh) but the problem was how? i looked for pipe the right size to fit snug inside my bars but the only thign i foudn was solid and weighed 50 million pounds. and then as i was lookign threw my bin of parts i foudn some old pro model decks, and the ideo hit me to make the reinforcments out of them. so using desighns i have seen before i made simpel reinforsements out of an odl deck, and made a step by step tutorial below. (sorry for the novel.)
fist find an old deck .
the part in red is what you need to cut.
that is what you should separate from the rest. and this is your end result...
then start to cut it down to a size just bigger then the inside of your bars...
then file the edges down to round and insure a snug fit
then start placing the reinforcements into your bars
hammer it in about an inch or so away from the end of your bars for bar ends...
put bar ends back on and you are done!!!
