so i have this nasty habbit of grinding through decks, which has forced be to ride a vert x deck, but welded decks feel sooooo much better and are more comfortable, so i plan on getting a threshhold, but welded decks are alot easier to grind through. so i think it may be just my improper waxing Technics, and maybe improper wax. is skate wax that much better? are there things i should be doing while i wax? because it seems like im the only guy with this problem.

Wax the whole curb(top, side, and edge) With as much wax as you can. like legit a 2 inch layer. and every couple weeks put more on

You're never going to prevent that shit on curbs. No matter how much wax you cake on. Try gluing a plexiglass cut out to the bottom of your deck of something, as soon as it wears through take it off and use another one. It probably wouldn't be very efficient anyway, but it would slide better.

honestly if your riding street and you come to a new spot (concrete) with no wax on it, your going to have to grind threw your deck alot because you gotta wax alot, grind over it and compress it, wax more, grind it more , wax more, grind more and repeat to get the concrete to grind nice, but i ride and love my vertx so i never have to work about it, but my deck is grinded down about half an inch
