How to remove and grease a headset?

I searched through a bunch of pages and didn't find anything on this.

So me and my friend were at the local skatepark and through the day I heard a rattling noise. My brake is kinda rattly (I ride a stock Razor Pro with ODI's and griptape from shopecx.com) so I just thought it was that. But it was kinda going on for a while and I thought that it was my headset because I heard about things with loose headsets. So we went to our bench where our stuff was and I tightened my headset, worked fine, so I went back into the park and rode some more. Maybe about an hour later, the headset started to lock up, and it no longer spins as fast anymore. I just brought it up and loosened the nut to see if it would help, but it didn't so I figure it needs greased.

But how do I get it apart to grease it..? It's a stock Pro headset so you know.

Make sure when you tighten a headset you only tightent the lock nut not the nut that goes over your bearings. Put the lower nut on untill i starts to get harder to turn then put the locknut on and tighten it so you cant tighten it anymore and it should just click into the right tightness.

So the locknut is the wider of the 2 nuts? Because I see the one below the clamp which I assume is the locknut and a thinner one against the headset. Do I tighten that rather than the locknut?

get a shifter or something wrench whatever you wanna call it, Put it on the bottom one, get another wrench, put it on the top one, tighten it down onto the bottom one without moving the bottom one if you get what I mean. it should stay tight

The lock nut is the one directley inderneath the clamp. You tighten that one.

I think I get it, but I'm pretty sure I need to remove it to grease it because it isn't spinning. How can I get it apart to grease it?!!?

1st take your bars off by undoing the clamp with an allen key. Then you loosen the locknut and spin it up and off the fork you do that with the nut below that aswell. But they allready come greased, you might have over tightened it and damaged the bearings.

Uhh you have to buy a new threaded headset because you cant get them seperately but it's most likely you have just tightened it up all wrong.

But it seems that it you can tighten the locknut either upwards next to the clamp or down next to the other nut below the locknut?

No ----- that's cuz when you turn it up your loosening and when you turn it down against the other nut your tightening it which is what you want to do, but turn the nut under it up, in the other direction.

Fsa pig. Just put the LOCK NUT on top it will stop all wobble and spin way faster and smoother.
