how to remove broken bearing ring

so i was trying to replace a bearing and when i was it exploded and all the balls and everything came out, except for the outer ring of the bearing which is wedged in there, and i cant get it out.
any suggestions?

1.learn to write a sentence
2.grab a flat headed screwdriver
3.put the flat bit under the outer ring
4.push down on the handle so it leans on the wheel
5.after multiple go's it should come out

also if you have a wheel where it has a bit for the spacer that stops your bearing then, well you have just ruined a stupid wheel.
