how to remove the front fork?

get the crown race (if its not on)
hammer it onto the fork via forktube
put the bearings of the headset (ring thing will balls in this cage thing) facing up on the crown race
Put it into the headtube
put the other bearings in, put the dust cover on and put the other nut.

then put your bars, tighten your clamp and you're good to go
