How to: slow down videos (without editing them) to figure out how to do a trick...

allright, i figured this is in the right section... This also works with audio...

First, you must have a video in Windows Media Player. I CAN NOT show you how to do this for Youtube, Vimeo, Blip, etc...

Open a Windows Media Player type file, and under now playing, there's a small arrow in a box, and click it, and choose enhancements, and choose play speed settings.

and a small box will appear at the bottom of the screen. drag the dial around in order to slow down/speed up the video/song.

Also, to change the color of the Media Player,
you need to click the arrow directly to the left of Play Speed Settings.
There is Video Colors, EQ, Bass, and finally, Color Chooser

adjust the saturation and color in order to change that fugly blue into something a bit nicer, like gray.

I hope that helps, and I really made it because i told some kid that i would make it.
and, most of the kickscootervideos.com videos will work with windows media player

i have a question, i used to use WMP but one day it just switched to real player, and i want to go back to WMP. i'm a n00b so can someone tell me how to make WMP my default media player? lol

just press control+shift+s for slowmo, and control+shift+n for normal again. Way easier...

i think you need to go to the preferences menu or something. or, when you open a file, right click and choose open this program with... and select windows media player, and then check the box that says always use this or whatever

well this way lets you slow down to any speed, speed up to any speed, change your color, change the video color, change the eq, etc...

FOR VIMEO/YOUTUBE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PAUSE THE VID, AND CONTINUOUSLY PRESS THE PLAY BUTTON!!!! (to pause, then play, then pause, then play, etc) DO IT FAST THO!!
