How-to video: New a deck with b folding mechanism

some things i forgot to mention in the video are that the 4 bolts come from either a new a deck or a b model or pro model deck. also, to get the 4 holes in the new a plate if you use it, just put it in the deck after you drill the holes in the deck, then drill down through the holes you already made and into the plate

Why would you want to do this? dont A's snap easily?

with a few other mods i thought of, mine was pretty strong.
they do brake quickly compared to pro models ect.
i love this mod just because new A bodys are light.

New A's are good if you know how to mod them. change it to a pro of b foldy and weld the deck with the foldyso it wont break as easily. Then youve got a pretty nice scoot.

if you go from a pro model to a new A pro foldy you will be able to like quad flat.

i snapped my new a deck in like a week so now i have to ride my cracked pro which surprisingly hasnt completely snapped

and the new A foldy mech puts my pressure on a smaller spot.

Auctually the welding has little to do with it. The problem with the a is because, like you said, the folding mech puts alot of pressure in the middle of the deck when you pull up... if you put the B mech on you'll get alot more time out of the deck. I have a new A that i rode for about 6 months still intact, and i did some really wild riding on it too.

i tryed using an old A mech.
took alot of work getting it off.
then fitting it then it ripped off the next day.
i was pissed.

ive done it with an old a mech and had to drill and thread it myself, and it worked great except that ond day when i took it apart to paint the mech and put it back on i forgot to tighten one of the bolts all the way so the deck snapped.

thanks BK, I think i might get one of those AW 125s to use, that would be pretty sweet. then again there would be alot more weight, but who cares?
