I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT ;)

I know I'm nothing when it comes to everyones riding, but I want to say things I never really expressed. I might ride for razor, I might ride to film, I might ride to get to places, but over all I ride for my self. The feel I get when I do any single trick, it makes me feel kind of free. I could have anything on my mind, and just go out and ride whatever I can to release it. I don't think anyone can ruin that from me, and if your going to come on this site and try to ruin everyone else's enjoyment then get a life. Every tung must confess, every head must nod, everyone one who doesn't ride a scooter for fun and new heights, then stop riding it. Your ruining yours and trying to ruin ours. This common bond between all of us is so strong just because we share the same hobbie. What are you doing here if you don't enjoy it or you make fun of people. Please don't think of me differently, most of you kids out there have to learn, the facts of life.

wow, that was... intense. I already had tons of respect for you in the first place, but wow, that just... wow. I think that post should be put in big letters on the front page of SR for everyone to see or something.

Although I agree with most of what you have to said I still think all you guys sound like a bunch of broken records. Everyone just needs to stop having these great revelations and just go ride a scooter.

I agree with almost everything Corey said. But i also agree 100% with Andrew.. its getting old seeing people come and make these epic posts, trying to be the Saviors of SR. Where it is than followed by a bunch of people i dont even know, posting saying how its the best thing they ever heard.

Let SR, be SR. Let everyone who comes here be themselves. If they break the rules, or complain, or insult to much. They wont be here anymore, simple as that.

For the sake of everyone, i'll be the one to point out everyones flaws and what-not :)
Seeing as i don't ride anymore, meaning no one can tell me to GTFO and ride a scooter.
Haha :)

Back to the post..
I agree, to an extent.
I wouldn't say i'm a veteran, or even close.
I wouldn't say i'm a noob, or even close.
I wouldn't say i'm even respected on here, but i do think i have some element of respect.

I have never acted like a 'noob' as such, cause of previous forums and things, and realizing how bad acting nooby is..
Its not fun to act nooby, nor is it fun to be flamed for it. So why people do it, who knows?
All i have to say is, if forums were perfect, there would be no point in having them.

yeah people please stop posting videos of "triple whip attempts" and 360s in you're long ass driveways.
You come in the video section to watch good videos and to be impressed. So please stop posting videos of you doing fingerwhip flyouts on big ass fly boxes and practice until you get really good before you throw out a video. I hate watching silly videos, but who cares what i think, im just a another mutha from New Jersey.
I will write more later, the bell is about to ring.

Corey, i agree with you. but honestly, you wasted your time posting that. no one is gonna take it seriously. why? because its the internet. everyone needs to stop posting silly little minivideos in their driveways and garages, and save up their good footage and then release a video. I've never even put out a legit minivideo, and i've been riding for 8 years. but me telling people this isn't going to change anything because why? yep. you guessed it. it's the internet.

Edit: Read some responses, so from what I hear, here's mine:

Obviously people need to put out videos that are better. When someone puts out a video with all their clips from one or two parks, it's not good. I'm not just saying this to the TIC kids, because I know other people do this. My first mini took me almost ten months to finish, and it had tons of different spots, and I think at most one was used three times, at most. Another problem is that there're too many tricks going on. Watch Stan's video, he flows hella and when he's riding park doesn't do too many tricks, but he's up there with the best. So learning to flow park or finding some original lines either in park or on street is greatly beneficial. You gotta learn to ride different aspect. For example, since my last mini I learned how to grind and *gasp* how to ride quarter pipes. Rails are still a daunting task, but I'm slowly learning them. At least I would be, if my friend's mom didn't run his rail over. All in all, this sport needs to be more well rounded. The vast majority of people are doing the same thing, and not enough are doing something different.

i agree with alex 100%

ive only posted like 2 videos
and one sucked
and the other one was ehh.

but i realized how many things i need to learn. like recently i learned how to flow my local park to much better and do tricks over every hip/pyrmid, etc. and mantain speed and whatnot.
i am still working on alot of things before i film ANYTHING else or before i even buy a nice camera.

Super queer.
Yea I only ride hard when I want to. I know how good I am and how good I can be so whats the point of getting hurt everyday? I jsut chill out and ride. If I feel like doing something gnarly I'll do it. Anyone who rides with me knows that. You can say I suck but I dont TRY to impress people at all. Im not trying to be cocky or anything but its true you know? I mean wait till you see some of my new footage. I never do it when im aorund a bunch of people cause i just like chill seshes.

everyone that posts in this thread is gonna be like, "woah corey i completely agree with you! just ride for fun everyone! thats what i do! im so legit" or something dumb like that sucking up to corey or someone else like stevon or dan or whoever is posting in here that is considered "good" or "pro" or whatever

ive been on this site for almost 3 years now, yeah im not the best but ive had fun the whole time, and i could definitely tell how forum has changed since then, but then again the sport is growing and now there are more people on the site, which i guess is both good and bad, but mostly good, i still enjoy watching all the OLD OG vids where people loads of time and effort into a video instead of making one a week, iv been riding for 3 years almost and still HAVENT made a mini vid yet, why because im not confidint that anything i film is my best.

and to erik who posted above me, yeah some kids do that, and thats why i stopped going on this site, i cared to much about what other people thought, now idc anymore, and honestly i think that helped improve my riding and be creative with it, now i ride for the feeling , not the respect, cuz well to be honest im never gonna get any, lol
