one time i bought a new set of wheels for my board, and i was going super fast into the deep end of the bowl at bristo, and i hit the tiniest pebble and got shot foward in the the wall of the bowl. pretty much broke my elbow and put a huge flatspot in one of my wheels.

Never had problems with rocks on a scooter, actually. When i used to skateboard down hills and when i saw a pebble on the ground, i braced myself bcuz chances are, i was gonna kiss the concrete
