Quite possibly the most ignorant post on SR and the reason this country is going down hill. People don't care anymore. That's the problem. It is a far bigger problem than a couple buildings falling down.




I believe it was a terrorist attack. Plain and simple. I could possibly see the government having known about the attack and not doing as much as they could to prevent it not realizing the true damage it was going to cause but if they did know it was coming and they could have forseen the damage there is no way in the world they would have just stood by and watched. It is no different for me than Pearl Harbor. People say the government knew about the attack but allowed it to happen for a reason to go to war. I could buy that story but really no one will ever know the truth. Either way it was not some conspiracy or inside job. That is just absurd.

I don't agree with most of what George Bush is doing these days but I voted for him because I believed he had a vision for what was right for this country. In his defense I believe in his mind he is still doing what he believes to be right for this country. Just because you don't agree with the way he is running our government does not justify accusing him of sabotage.

For any of you who actually follow politics instead of just stating opinions you may have seen Obama's speech last night at the DNC. He made it very clear that no matter what party you support, all the candidates are running because they love this country and think they know the best way to run it. I believe this holds true to every president we have ever had. Just because you don't agree with their politics does not make them a bad person. There is no REAL reason for our government to attack itself.

While I agree with that, I disagree with it on George W. Bush.

The man is stupid and incompetent and I truly do believe he is evil, flat out evil.

there's no fucking way the government had anything to do with 9/11. of course there is corruption in politics, but to the point that the united states government would kill it's own citizens just to wage war? that's fucking bullshit. there are so many easier ways to justify invvading a country than the government gave after 9/11. there may be some truth to the government having a hand in the kennedy assassination, but saying that they had some part in 9/11 is lust lunacy.

i'm not saying there aren't sketching things involving the pentagon, but why would the government have any reason to damage the pentagon? the WTC alone was enough to work the country into a frenzy. after 9/11, you heard people saying "we're all new yorkers" and there were pictures of the twin towers everywhere you looked, but people barely even talked about the pentagon and shanksville. so why would there be some huge conspiracy behinds something that's been pretty much forgotten by everyone except the conspiracy theorists?
