I like how the mods arent enforcing rules

Mods not to complain, but the reason people keep not putting pictures if because you let them get away with that shit. Ive seen very few ads that are deleted or locked because of no pictures. I can go in the buy, sell, and trade forums and find a handful in each section made within the last week without pictures.

There ads stay up cause they know they hav a damn good chance of getting by with not having to post pics.

So what I'm saying is, please enforce the rules, especially the picture one. Making a thread threatening to delete people's ad without pictures does NOTHING when you dont stand behind it.

I dont buy from people without pics, but everyone here, not only me always complains about people not posting pics, including mods, they even complain. Well if they would follow through, they might not have as much of a problem.

And it doesnt take that much free time to delete or lock a thread, theres more than 1 mod also.

Yeah, i mean if mods actually banned people for LEGIT reasons and locked pointless threads more consistently, there would be a lot less made in the first place.

Alright, you ready for the truth? Brace yourself cause Im gonna tell it like it is, not sugar coat it just because Im a mod.
We may be the staff of the site, but we all have things called personal lives. We all live in different time zones. So therefore, we cant all be online every fuckign second of the day. I know when I come on, this is one of the first sections I check and I delete at least 3 or 4 threads almost every time. I delete someones thread and they bitch at me, I give them a warning and tell them to just post pictures within the next day and then theres kids like you who make threads to complain about it.
How come its always you that I see making posts like this and trying to put yourself above everyone else?

Im glad you follow that rule, but this is what I mean, there you go making yourself sound like the "role model" to follow. You arent the god damn poster child of SR so chill out, loosen up and have some fun. Its not the end of the world because a few threads got by without picture, it happens.
I understand you even put a disclaimer so that the staff knows you arent complaining, but what else would you call this? A suggestion? Ok. But a necessary thread? No. If you have a problem like this, message someone. If you understood the site like you seem to think you do, than you would know making a thread would be an 80% chance of a shitstorm. PM one of us and talk to US about it, explain your reasoning, and have a conversation with the people it matters to. Dont make a thread where everyone on here can respond and either take the topic seriosuly, or just come in here and be a dick. Dont believe me? Check out the first repsonse in here... I rest my case.

Scott, your my boy and all, but i think that mods should be people who can actual check the site on a daily basis and set shit straight. i mean Rob is on all the time, and doesn't enforce shit.

I completely agree that we shoudl check it daily, and most of us try to. What Im saying is that we cant be on every MINUTE of the day. There might be times when 3 or 4 of us are on, and there might be some (usually short) periods where only one of us might be on, or maybe none of us at all. We have no control over it. Its not like we set a schedule like Robs on from 1-3, Im on from 3-5, etc. (No one better say this would be a good idea. It would be extremely impractical and wouldnt last more than a few days, if even that.)
Theres also thousands of threads, hundreds of users, thousands of posts, all kinds of different sections, and then theres only 8 or 9 staff members. Do the math and have an understanding that we all have personal lives besides SR, and then youll realize why we dont see every single little thing on here.
Theres also stuff we do that none of the regular users can see. Theres constantly posts and new threads from spambots. We can see them but you guys cant. Thats just one example of the work we do that none of the users give us credit for because they cant see it.

Im not trying to start shit or be a dick, but seriously, people need to stop complaining that we dont do anything and think about everything that we actually have to do. I used to say the same things about certain mods, but now that I am a mod I realize how hard it is to monitor everything that gets posted, at any time of day, whether Im online or not, in every section, in every thread, every day... Think about all that and try to see where Im coming from. The only reason I get pissed about these things is because the peple who complain are always the ones who never take the time to look at our side of it.

This is what you all need to read. More problems come from this section than anywhere else. Theres a lot of shit to watch in here. And threads exactly like this that pop up at least once a month dont make it any better.
