i'm a 2011 an know alot about scooters. all my addict brakes have been broken for a while now. they only lasted a couple weeks each max, i live around alot of hills and use the brake for manuals and tire tap tricks. i'd appreciate it if i could test one and i'll let you know what i think of it

Just a thought. But if as you said, it bends with heat correct? Well pressing the brake down over the wheel will cause friction... In other words heat. So wouldn't the brake just bend like all hell after using it for about an hour?... Or just melt through it...

i mean a direct flame like from a stove i tried w a lighter and that wouldn't work and i held it for 15 min the stove will bend it and makes it stronger
