I need your guys help - they might stop allowing scooters at my local!

Alright, so a week ago they started allowing scooters and bikes into the andover skatepark. The bikes haven't been a problem so far so they are there for good. Scooters on the other hand have been giving some trouble. Now that they allow scooters, all these little kids are coming with scooters on the "big boy playground." I'm tight with the owner and he says it's unsafe and annoying. He realizes that it would suck for me, but I'm really the only one that scooters there, so it would only be disapointing one person. He told me to think of an idea or rule that they could post that would make the little kids not allowed, but me still able to ride. I've already thought of age limits, but that doesn't work out. Becuase if theirs a nasty 7 year old, but a gay 12 year old, it doesn't work. Can you guys think of something good that wouldn't make their parents complain, but basically just allows me?

Make it so that kids under the age of what ever must have a parent and if its a 12 year old then say that if some one is being annoying have someone kick them out or make it under 13 must have a parent

well you can pretty much assume that someone who is 16 is probably gonna have better park etiquete than some 6 year old.

I say just put up a sign saying no scooters allowed, and if anyone complains, just say that you're tight with the owner and he trusts that you won't destroy his ramps...

Have it so that the owner has the right to refuse entrance to anyone who has bad park etiquette. Also, have the owner post signs like the ones at ski slopes explaining park etiquette. I guess the first part would only work if theres always an employee there though.

well i know how you feel about this one,, the indoor park i go to didnt allow scooters becuase of lil kids riding them but i convinced them to let me ride cuz im 1. 17 and not a lil kid. 2 i showed them vids including terry prices mini vid of how real scootering is.. and they thought it was impressive so they let me ride but i dont see them letting in lil kids but i dont know cuz so many parents there seen me ride and might bring their lil kids scooters next time so i dunno but the way it looks they willl only let me cuz im older and more professional then some clutsy lil kid. i dunno maybe that will happen at your park?

i think they should have a sign like before you enter the park saying "all parents read" then have it say something like if you kid cant stand or ride on a skateboard, bike, scooter, etc.. please have them learn at home before taking them in here for saftey reasons

experienced riders only.

and hire someone to teach them how to ride a park... it still would make them money with all the little kids.
