I think I almost got jumped for riding a scooter

So I'm riding home after a quick street sesh, it's dark by now and a get to a four way intersection. I'm just chilling a checking my phone when I notice a group of teenagers walking around, so I go back to waiting to cross when I hear running, turn around and bam, this dude twice as big as me jumps and kicks me in the back. I was so shocked I thought it was a friend joking with me. So I asked him "Do I know you" He just starts yelling weird shit like "If you want to know me I'll beat your ass right here". I'm so confused at this point till I see some other dude bolt after me so I run across the street and ask him if he goes to my school cause he looked familiar and he casually said no, and smirked then goes after me I look back and said "Come on you can run faster, try harder!" and then take off home at full speed.

What get's me is I know where I am scootering is taken like a joke, I've been called names and threatened before and it's not just me, I've heard from other people too. Something that I don't understand is; Who just does that? Seriously...... And another thing is it was at a busy four way intersection, and NO ONE stopped to help.... :/ I'm not comfortable with riding in my own town anymore....

Just beat their ass dude. It will solve it. If more than one person tries to fight you they're obviously a pussy. Or just ride with at least 1-2 people if your worried about it happening again.

Knock him out with your deck/bars. Self defense

Roll deep man, carry a knife if you have too, I used to roll with one, just don't ride anywhere that could get you in trouble with the cops because then you could get charged with possession of a deadly weapon. It may not have been for riding a scooter, possibly just assholes, I had some kid try to jump me before, just beat some ass and roll.

Fuck man. That shit sucks. I live right by the bridge by rio seco, I was at the jumps today and some hobo came out of the trees, I dipped real fast.

bro almost the same thing happened to me about a month ago. I found this new spot, a red boat mold on google maps and we decided to go ride it. To get there you have to ride somewhat threw the ghetto and in the day time its normally fine but at night its pretty crazy and I just figured "dude its sarasota florida, what the fuck can happen.". So after our sesh it and by the time we had to go back threw it was completely dark haha. We were just casually riding threw talking when my boy Joe noticed two pretty big black guys come walking out of the mini-mart on the corner. Just as he noticed them walking torwards us I get a phone call I was like shit I cant talk right now and as soon as I hung up the phone they were full speed sprinting at us with bandanas and hoodies covering their faces along the side of a major intersection just like you and im pretty sure they had a gun but it could have been something else, really not sure. At one point though they were about 4 feet away from my back when I crossed the road. Then I only got halfway across because there was traffic on the other side of the road and I was staring at them for like 10 seconds haha. It was honestly sorta sketchy but I knew they could'nt catch me.
