Haha I have seen people try, my friend does those hops and he tried like 15 times to hop up about a knee level ledge, every single time he hit his front wheel on the ledge , like barley hopped and hit his bars on the ledge.

It's really all about muscle. Just jump as hard as you can and pull the bars up as high as you can. It's considerably harder to do when you're not jumping over something.

I jump really weird, yet pretty high. I just start jumping stuff when I'm bored. I did ~37in today. I actually bring it all up at once, and suck it way into my chest, and then kinda move my scooter while I'm jumping. I long jump for my schools track so I have strong legs. Try some leg exercises, like squats

Set out a gap, not big maybe a metre or something, then stick something highish in the middle of it. The gap before should give you time to compress and the gap after to relax and land.

I would love to see a high speed rail system like this. I would love to be able to hop on a train and get to LA in 12 hours or so. Even as a fiscal conservative, I would support the government spending money on something like ...cheap printer cartridges

I've been practicing high hops for like 1 day. I can do consistent and solid flat tricks already but I want to be able to hop high. Like do legit ledges high.Like go up 4 stairs high. I know it'll take time but I want your experienced pre supervision...advice.Thanks

If you have a local 2 or 3 stair.. practice Jumping from the bottom to the top of the 2 or 3 stair. it thats what i did..

PS. you will eat shit a couple of times.. :)

I think it's all abou setting a goal. Try jumping over something small and get bigger and bigger. You won't learn how to jump higher without the challenge of havint to clear something.

Try box jumps. It's where you stand stationary and jump up onto another platform. I can jump like 2.5 feet (our school gym doesnt have any bigger boxes) and I think it helps with my jumps a lot. Remember to throw your hands above your head too.

Whenever I hope for height I lift and bring my knees up into my chest and the deck just comes with them and I can get like 2 1/2 or 2 3/4 feet high. Hope this helps.
