Idea For New Pros.

JDBen, i really wish you would stop being a complete asshole. Really, a simple request in a derogatory way and you ignored it completely. You could have just left the thread and dropped it there, instead you come in for the sole purpose of being an ass.

I support Jamie on this one.

Anyway, depending on how thick the plate is, it might be worth it, but the sides and top part of the deck will still be weaker.
Current reinforcements are good, and a certain someone i know is coming out with chromo strips, which are excellent as razor pros are getting cheap as hell.

I have an idea that doesn't involve welding( which actually would work fine if you just do it around the edges, so i don't know wtf jdben is talking about). You could basically make something thats like a dsa decksaver. Get or cut a sheet of aluminum the length of the deck and about 2 inches wider than the deck. after measuring, bend up the metal on each side of the deck so it covers the inch or so on the side( it should be presed right up against the sides). A crossview from behind the metal would look like a rectangle missing the top side. cut out a section on the back for the wheel using a hacksaw or such, and just drilll and bolt. Do you think this would work???? Maybe i'll try it when i get a new deck and post pics if it works in a new thread.

We're just thinking of alternatives, And it would make your deck last longer, Your deck wouldnt be grinding so the rails don't get thinner..

Eh, horribly reinforced decks seem to work well.
Inside strip or box reinforcements
outside angles/boxes
super beast
