If a scooter game was made what would you want to be in it?

Online/multiplayer games of SCOOT
Customisable scooters
More street orientated with a little bit of park
Skatepark creator
Maybe make it that after a while some parts break?
Obviously missions and what not
Open world for free ride
Make your own character or play as a pro
Like Skate 3 just with scooters
This probably won't happen though but I hope it does someday

You guys have to understand that he is making this by himself, it would take him 10 years to make the game your describing.

Its probably just going to be a very basic game like the razor scooter one.

Im not making this game by myself, an older friend is thinking about making one, im just helping him out by doing some research to see what people would want in this game. And yes, if it were to be a game like the people are describing, it would take a very long time.My friend is planning on asking EA to get involved, but there is a very slim chance they will

In my opinion the game should definitiely be modelled after EA's 'Skate' series. Like so:

It should have a similar style storyline, where you play as a customisable character who must complete various challenges and goals (photo ops, filming clips, downhill races, comps, collecting objects scattered around the map) within an open world environment. The completion of these challenges should further drive the plot. There should also be multiple skateparks/pools at various locations, where similar challenges may be situated. Obviously this open-world environment would be littered with street spots, and be accessible in a 'Free Ride' mode of the game as well, just like in the 'Skate' series.

Another important aspect would have to be the scooter customisation, and this would be one of the biggest differences between this game and 'Skate.' I'm not too sure how this would work, like whether the choice of wheels would affect the way the scooter would ride, or whether an Addict Deck would whip faster then say a Proto Orion 5". As long as there is a vast range of products and colour choices (possibly custom graphics?) then it would be one of the best parts of the game for sure. I also think that parts/clothing should have to be bought with money earned from the storyline element of the game, and at the beginning you start with maybe an Ultra pro complete or something and have the choice to buy from a limited range of parts, and various brands get unlocked as you encounter them throughtout the career as well.

I have so much more to say but cbf typing.

how would it be retarded to have well known riders?

imo it would, its just weird to have famous riders in the game to me, it would also take alot of work to do so, also if you leave some other riders out it wouldnt be as good

i would just want it to be exactly like skate 3, but scooters.

The product porforemence doesn't even exist in skype though really, all you can do is have harder wheels and loose or tight trucks

I agree with Grant just make a basic scooter with nice parts and people can get over the customization. Maybe just switch decks, bars, and wheels. Otherwise it will be too complicated.

BEADY!
Be able to choose a certain style that the rider has, stance and all
Also in skate you can fully customize your board and in scootering, customization is more important IMO so that should be a big part. Lastly it'd be cool to be able to unlock certain rare parts and stuff like of fullcores or certain colorways like gold

also if you make it more street oriented it will make our sport look a lot better.
and for music, it would be cool if you put songs from pro's edits.
