what are bearing removal slots? If both your bearings are in the wheel, how does it help remove the bearing? Haven't understood these slots, hoping someone can explain it to me

arent they just a place where there is no cup around the bearing, making it easier to knock out the bearing?

it so the bearing spacer has a place to fall when placing your allen key in the bearings to hit them out, makes it easier.
