If you own sky bars...

Could a couple of you guys measure the outer diameter of the vertical tube please? I mean precisely, like with a pair of verniers. I'm designing either a double clamp or scs around sky bars for myself, not to sell so don't start bitching, but I don't have mine yet. I need a couple people to measure just for consistency. Thanks

they are standard 1 1/4" chromoly bars tho, right?

Not sure, the only bars I have run are homemade, that's why I asked.
