IHC Slow Headset

My headset spins slow (IHC) i tighten the compression so the scooter is just dialed and when i put the bars on it spins slow and when i spin the bars it goes faster in certain areas and slower in some areas when i spin the bars and its all wierd. Also when i do some tricks i noticed white powdery stuff under the clamp on the top headset part and i think its cause the bars are right against the top cap idk . so someone please help me , this is very annoying :creep::creep::creep:

My question is : how do i fix this problem of the bars spinning slow and are the bars causeing it?

The top cap is grinding the headtube, take the topcap off or put a pinch ring in between the top bearing and top cap and itll be fine. Happened to my friend before.

Another solution is get a rubber o ring (1 1/8") to act as a spacer on top of the compression ring in your headset.

So my bars are suppose to spin with the compression ring as if they were attached? ( im thinking my bars spin fast and slow at different times because sometimes my bars are against the compression ring and sometimes not)

Try taking off your topcap, your headset will be fine, itll just get dirty quick.

Yea but i dont want it to get dirty its a new scooter and i dont think u guys understand my question im askig why does my headset spin slow in certain areas when i tighten it till its dialed and when its loose and not dialed its fine ,but still not as fast.. ( should i upgrade my headset, its stock)

Stock headsets blow, and when you tighten your headset to make it dialed, that is way too tight. A dialed scooter means nothing.
