if you got sponsored by razor, youd prolly make $1,000 - a year. so i mean youd be fine for a couple months if you lived as cheap as possible, alone.

if everything goes to plan and i do get sponsored, what next??? if the sport doesnt kick off really hard i might'n get anywhere in life. obviously being sponsored isnt enough to make a living off right now, and theres always the chance of being crippled lol.

im not gonna have any other skills but scooter riding and parkour (when im at school).

i love this sport and its my whole life, but i dont wanna be bankrupt at 18 coz i didnt get a good enough job.

so its either go balls out scooter ride and see what happens.

or nerd it up and become a game designer, that makes video games ...

im pretty set on the whole scootering thing but yeh

any thoughts or opinoins?

You might try to find a bmx/skate stunt team and get hired as a scooter rider to ride at shows/exhibitions and earn money, some riders including Terry Price have done that. You'd have to get really crazy and consistant for that.

you could also get on the fuzion team...if you get to the "gold" level, you get 1000 dollars A MONTH, which you could easily live on if you lived with parents. and they said they're going to hire some full-time riders to get benefits and whatnot so i'd assume you could def. live off that.

yer well life isnt always fun but wen im older i want to work i want to be a welder and own a weldin buissness or anything that is hands on i thinks thats much better that bein stuck in a office on a computer an still i hope ill still be ridin wen im older but i still got a way to go till i finish school so i hope i make so good decisions

haha man 1000 dollars a month is nothing.

just get a job like a bartender or something. its not like every job out there requires an iq of 200

If they did, I'm pretty well set off... I disagree with the $1000 a month isn't much though. Sure if you had to live of that it's nothing. If your a kid living with your parents and stuff, it's a lot. I get like no money ever, so $1000 a month I couldn't even figure out how to spend in one month, chances are I'd either save for collage or help my dad with bills. Of course I'd spend some on fun things, like a really nice bike and stuff, and maybe save up for a mini in my yard but if I wasn't saving I wouldn't have anything to do with it. D--- me and my long posts.

my rent per month is 675. add in food and everything else life takes, and 1000 bucks is gone in a month. sorry, 1000 bucks doesnt cut it.

to answer your point, you wont make a living off riding a scooter, no matter what.
even pro skaters have some other form of income, skating alone supports very few people. unless you have a product you're selling, you're not going to pull in very much money.

so yeah, if you love riding, keep doing it, definitely. dont expect it to be able to support you, though. you need something to fall back on. theres no reason you cant ride and pursue an education or a job at the same time.

But $1000 a month for riding a fuzion what ever the fuck that is pluss like some part time work some were could work out to be a decent amount, well enough to live off and have fun i supose?

yea its like my friends when ever i land something cool or big that they've never seen before there like damn it josh!!!!! send a video to RAZOR!!!!!!!! and im like yea i can do some cool combo stuff and send it in street but come on im doing a 540 to fakie to halfcab bar on top of a box jump and they just dont understand that people on razor could KICK MY ASS easy as shit. so yea riding is not going to get me anywhere so i skate mini ramp to make myself feel good about myself. hahahah that has nothing to do with anything

I know scooterin is growing really fast and all, BUT....

im spending all my time scooterin and working on my riding and not giving much time to anything else. completly dedicating myself to the sport and im not sure if im going at it the right way.

all the kids these days are getting crazier and crazier. that litte 11 year old or whatever he was, trying 360 flip, that raymond guy, super flip and flip quad. all these kids doing stupidly awesome stuff.
at the moment my shoulder is really sore, i tried to flair tuck no hander late whip, fell on the coping...

im starting my razor spono soon because obviously i wanna get spono'd.

if everything goes to plan and i do get sponsored, what next??? if the sport doesnt kick off really hard i might'n get anywhere in life. obviously being sponsored isnt enough to make a living off right now, and theres always the chance of being crippled lol.

the 11 year old trying 360 flips is acually 12 years old monkey from 951 scooters and owns in everything else too, street, park, rails, whatever......and raymond warner did the flip quad and superflip and he is 16

yeah dude the fuzion money could take care of your scootering and then get a job. it doesnt even have to pay that much. then ride the rest of the time and try not to get hurt lol

nothing right now is going to support your scootering if thats all you want to do. Try and find a better job, or work more and scoot a little less.

you cant ride forever, and you need to have $ saved up for other things later.

ive never had problems with this, i just ride like 6 hours a day, and theres still plenty of time to study or whatever. im wanting to get a good job as a filmer or something, prefereably for bmx or something, that way i can earn resonable money and get to visit amazing parks. just my plan.

you can both learn and try to get a good job aswell as riding scooters loads.
